# Cookie and storage policy

Draft — not yet effective. Version 2026-10-29.1-draft. Proposed effective date: 29 October 2026.

This policy covers Converted pages, not the separate sales, writing or legacy-account tools elsewhere on the domain. Contact: access@undercurrent-network.digital. The controller’s legal identity still needs completion.

## Necessary storage

converted.web.auth in localStorage holds the web authentication session, including session tokens, so you remain signed in; it is removed by sign-out, subject to browser storage behavior. network-theme stores your chosen appearance and undercurrent.language your chosen interface language until you change or clear them. converted.cookie-preferences stores your cookie-panel preference version until changed or cleared. Temporary authentication navigation state is held in sessionStorage and removed on completion or tab closure. Desktop authentication uses a short-lived single-use code rather than placing access or refresh tokens in a URL.

The inspected Converted pages do not set application cookies for advertising or load optional analytics, profiling pixels or social embeds. Hosting and authentication providers may process technical request information and set necessary infrastructure cookies depending on their deployment; these must be checked again after configuration changes. Self-hosted fonts and graphics do not load external font services. Following an external link contacts its destination.

## Your choices

Necessary session and preference storage is used to provide functions you request. No optional tracking is currently configured, so there is no accept-all banner. The permanent Cookie preferences link explains the active storage and lets you revisit it. Clearing browser data also removes preferences and can sign you out. Declining future optional tracking must not disable unrelated tools. Scrolling, navigation and accepting the terms are not tracking consent.

If optional analytics or advertising is introduced, this inventory and the consent interface must be updated before the corresponding scripts or requests are enabled. Separate choices must start off, prevent loading until consent and stop future collection on withdrawal, deleting identifiers under the site’s control where applicable.
