How to convert PNG to JPG
- Install Converted and sign in to your confirmed account.
- Right-click the PNG in File Explorer; choose “Convert with Converted”.
- Select JPG in the picker to start conversion.
- Open the JPG beside the original and inspect its edges.
Transparency becomes white
JPEG has no alpha channel. Converted replaces transparent areas with white, so a cut-out logo gains a white background.
Compression changes the image
JPG uses lossy compression. Small text and sharp graphics can show artifacts. Keep the PNG for further editing.
Your files stay together
The PNG is preserved. If the JPG filename exists, Converted adds a number. The folder must allow writing.
Questions about PNG and JPG
Will JPG always be smaller?
No. File size depends on the image. Compare both files before removing anything.
What if conversion fails?
Failures and cancellations are refunded. A dropped connection can delay the refund until synchronization.
