Convert WebP to JPG for a still image

Some upload forms and older programs accept JPG but not WebP. Converted makes a still image from the folder where your WebP already lives.

Image components are included. Requires Windows x64, a confirmed Converted account, Internet and one available credit, reserved before conversion and charged on completion.

How to convert WEBP to JPG

  1. Install Converted and sign in to your account.
  2. Right-click the WebP and choose “Convert with Converted”.
  3. Choose JPG from the available destinations.
  4. Open the result in the same folder and check the still image.

Only the first frame

A WebP can contain animation. JPG holds one image: Converted exports the first frame, without preserving motion or choosing a later frame.

A white background

Transparent parts become white. Check cut-out edges, particularly when the result will appear on a dark page.

Keep the source WebP

Re-encoding as JPG is lossy and cannot recover details already lost. Your original WebP remains preserved beside the new file.

Questions about WEBP and JPG

Can the result stay animated?

No. JPG is a still-image format. Retain the WebP if motion matters.

What if the JPG filename exists?

Converted adds a number, such as image (1).jpg, instead of replacing the existing file.
